Announcement
Under the current emergency order, all Kansas Citians must wear a face covering or mask while indoors in an area of public accommodation. These spaces include, but are not limited to, grocery and retail stores, special events, and public transit. While not required, all Kansas Citians are strongly encouraged to wear masks outdoors in any situation where they are unable to maintain six feet of social distance from others.
More information about face coverings and the emergency order can be found at KCMO.gov.
Round 2 updates to the program: This new round of funding includes provisions aiming to funnel financial assistance to small businesses initially shut out of loans. The law sets aside $60 billion for small- and medium-sized community banks and credit unions and less traditional lending companies that are SBA-approved.
