Masks or Face Coverings Required

In Kansas City Everyone must wear a mask or face covering while inside a business or public accommodation where physical distancing is not maintained.

Under the current emergency order, all Kansas Citians must wear a face covering or mask while indoors in an area of public accommodation. These spaces include, but are not limited to, grocery and retail stores, special events, and public transit. While not required, all Kansas Citians are strongly encouraged to wear masks outdoors in any situation where they are unable to maintain six feet of social distance from others.
